We are so excited to once again be offering Connect Classes on Wednesday Nights this fall! Classes will run from September 7th through November 2nd.
Connect Classes are a way to better connect with God, the church, and other people at Capitol Hill Assembly! This Fall we’re offering eight different classes, and we’re sure you’ll be able to find one that meets your needs!
Parents have the special privilege and calling to guide their children and help them grow into balanced, God-honoring adults. This calling requires constant sacrifice and increasing wisdom. In our Parenthood Connect Class, you’ll find biblical support for your journey to raise Christ-centered children. You’ll also receive encouragement as you learn to manage expectations and grow in your own walk with God.

Primetime: Senior Adult Living
Primetime is a class that discusses issues that senior adults face as they grow older. Included in this study are lessons about how seniors are still valuable to the church, how to prepare for the future, downsizing, life transition planning, and much more.

One in a Million
One in a Million is a women’s study focusing on how God uses the wilderness to draw us into an intimate relationship with him and grow in our own walks with God. Participants are encouraged to fully engage in the abundant life God has waiting for those who will allow Him to take the lead in daily living. One in a Million is an opportunity for you to experience your deliverance from strongholds, to conquer your wilderness living, and to claim your God-given inheritance.
Fellowship Hall // Teacher: Georgia Crawley
Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. Whether your divorce is in the past or the present, Divorce Care can help you heal.
Room 118 // Teachers: Joe & Margaret Fee
Signing 101 will teach American Sign Language beginners how to begin communicating with those who are deaf and hard of hearing. This 8-week session will focus on developing vocabulary related to everyday/functional signs, church vocabulary, and other basic language. It is open to all skill levels regardless of your experience.
Room 112 // Teacher: Lona Anders
Living Single is an eight-session course that will help you wrestle with the struggles, challenges, and joys of being single. It discusses how to enjoy being single in a couples’ world, reviews the benefits of being single, and considers how singles can embrace and overcome the challenges they face while waiting for marriage. It also looks at how long singles should keep hoping, where the desire for marriage comes from, and what to do with it, and how to stand strong in purity.
Room 114 // Teacher: Becky Robbins
Life’s circumstances can be overwhelming. When people can’t change them, they just learn to survive them. But, Jesus works through circumstances and equips us to rise above them. Using the biblical account of Joseph, this study helps group members move past simply surviving life’s adversities to overcoming betrayal, temptation, bitterness, and hard times.
Room 117 // Teacher: Mark Cain
Connected provides a biblical understanding of what it means to be a part of the body of Christ through a study of the Book of Ephesians. This study moves us to see that God has placed us in our local churches to serve others, care for them, pray together, learn together, and grow together–all for the glory of God.
