I like to start my year with a “theme” or “word” I feel like God has given me. My word for this year is “Resurrection Power.” A few months ago, we celebrated Christmas. Christmas is such a wonderful time of year, but what if Jesus had not been born? Or, just suppose He was born and grew into a good man and great teacher, but there was no crucifixion. Or let’s suppose He came, He taught, He died, but there was no Resurrection. As good as all that might be, it would be nothing without the Resurrection! But here is the good news – He came! He died! He rose again! The tomb is empty! And He is at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us! I pray you experience His “Resurrection Power” in your life today!
