Joshua 1:9 - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous
Joshua 1:18 - Only be strong and courageous
Wow! Are you getting the message? I looked up the meaning of “strong” in the dictionary and it means to be able to resist considerable force. “Courage” is the capacity to meet danger without giving way to fear. Some translations use different words such as bold or brave. But no matter how you read it, the message is clear! God wants us to be strong and courageous!!
So, whatever may be going on in your life, just realize this, you don’t have to fight the battle alone! The God of the universe is backing you up. Isaiah 43:1…Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
