Weakness and Power

Do you ever just long to be stronger? Sometimes we need God’s help to enable us to do something we feel called to do but just don’t feel we have the ability.

All of us have felt that way at some point in our lives! But I have good news for you!

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “I am with you, that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people. Now I am glad to boast about how weak I am; I am glad to be a living demonstration of Christ’s power, instead of showing off my own power and abilities.”

That kind of puts it all in perspective, doesn’t it? We all want to be good at what we are asked to do. But when we understand this principle, it makes it so much easier. The weaker we are, the more we have to depend on Him. And when we depend on Him, the world sees the power of Christ in our lives instead of it being all about what we can do in our own strength.

The next time you feel weak or inadequate, lean on Him. That’s when the world gets to see the power of Christ in our lives! And that’s a great thing for them to see.
