Who is Like Our God?

Sometimes I think it is easy to forget how great our God really is! Isaiah Chapter 40 is such a good reminder of the greatness of God.

Honestly, it’s hard to say which verse is my favorite in this chapter!

Verse 11 talks about how God tends His flock like a shepherd and carries them close to his heart. That’s how loving our God is!

Verse 12 talks about how He measures the water in the hollow of his hand. That’s how great our God is!

Verse 26 says, “He brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. That’s how detailed our God is!

The chapter ends with verses 29–31 talking about how God gives strength to the weary and power to the weak. That is how mindful our God is of His children!

But my very favorite verse might be verse 28. “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.”

That’s the great God we serve – the everlasting God!!
