Strength in Weakness

Are there times in your life when you feel totally depleted?  Exhausted? Weak?  The fact is that none of us want to be labeled as weak!  And yet, sometimes that’s just where we find ourselves.

I love what Max Lucado says, “It is our weakness that reveals how great God is.” Isaiah 40:29 says, “He gives power to the tired and worn out, and strength to the weak.”

Maybe it’s not so bad after all if our weakness reveals the greatness of our God.  If we receive power and strength because of our weakness, maybe it can be a good thing!  The next time you are faced with feelings of inadequacy because you are feeling “weak,” take a moment and remember the greatness of God and let His strength revive and refresh you!

Isaiah 40:31- “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.  They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
