Resurrection 2020

If you are like me, I am ready to say “goodbye” to 2020! This has been like no other year I can ever remember. The inconveniences of this year are unbelievable, even finding things in the grocery store have been difficult – things we used to take for granted. It seems our way of life has changed forever.

Then there are the health issues we have had to deal with. So many people have had this horrible virus! They have had a hard time recovering. It has left many weak physically, and even those who may not have been affected physically, have suffered emotionally.

And last but not least, we have lost loved ones and dear friends because of this disease that has swept across this land. I don’t like what’s going on, but I realize this year is not over yet. So, this is what I have decided. I am ready to “push back”. As discouraging as this year has been, I believe God can still do something miraculous in what’s left of 2020! In John 101:10 Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.” I am asking God to somehow redeem the rest of this year; to bring resurrection life into the months we have left. Will you stand, pray and believe with me?

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
