The Lord of Hosts

I am becoming more and more aware of so many people who are struggling and going through difficult times. Some are physically sick, some hurting from broken relationships, and some are dealing with financial needs.

At times, it is easy to become overwhelmed with the situations in our lives that we are dealing with. But the good news is, we are never alone.

In Jeremiah 51:16 it says, “When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens… He makes lightnings for the rain and brings forth the wind from His treasuries.”

You may be feeling hopeless and at “rock bottom.” But here is the good news: Your God is always with you! And who is like our God that when He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens? Who can make lightning, and wind, and rain?

I’ll tell you whoour God! The Lord of Hosts is His name (vs. 19).

The next time you have that feeling of helplessness, just remember the God you serve and remember what He can do! Call on His name. He is all powerful and can do what no one else can do! The Lord of Hosts is His name!
