Some Things You Need to Remember in 2021

Last year it was Covid and this year we have added severe weather to the challenges we were already dealing with. And now, more than ever, we need to stay grounded in our faith.

And here is what our faith is founded on.

God is God. God is good. He knows what is going on and He knows what He is doing. We know this, and as much as we want to believe it, sometimes we just struggle because we can’t seem to figure out things and find peace.

I love what Max Lucado said. “When you can’t trace His hand, trust His heart.” There are those things that we just sometimes don’t understand. If we keep trying to figure it out, we can become more and more confused.

But, if we can look beyond trying to figure out things, and if we can remember that the Heart of God is for us, we will be fine. In fact, we will be more than fine. We can always trust the heart of God.

Romans 8:31 says, “With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else He wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us?”

In the year 2021, let’s trust the heart of God and remember He is always for us!
