The Answer When You Need It

This morning I was thinking about my “to do list.” And on my list was to write this blog. A lot of times I will have so many thoughts running through my mind about what I want to share.

Today, I really didn’t have a thought, but then I felt like God spoke to my heart, that “when I needed it,” I would know just what God wanted me to share.

I am a “planner” and I like to plan out the day, the week, the month. And probably a lot of you are the same way. Sometimes we are searching for answers to questions or we may be trying to make the right decisions in our lives.

I certainly don’t have all the answers but I believe, and am absolutely sure, that if we trust in the Lord, He will give us the “right answer” when we need it.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6.

A line from one of my favorite hymns says,

’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus;

Just to take Him at His word.

And then it goes on to say,

How I’ve proved Him over and over.

God has a really good track record. He always provides “the right answer at just the right time.”
