Unchangeable God

We live in a world where things are constantly changing. From one day to the next, our world can change. Sometimes we may change jobs. The weather changes. Fashions change. Nothing stays the same forever!

In Psalm 72:17-19 it reads like this:

17 His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun (indeed, His name continues before the sun). And men shall be blessed and bless themselves by Him; all nations shall call Him blessed!

18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who alone does wondrous things!

19 Blessed be His glorious name forever; let the whole earth be filled with His glory! Amen and Amen!

I love this passage! It is a reminder that our God never changes! He existed even before the sun. In fact, He created the sun!

No matter what happens in our world, we serve a God who is always the same. That is something we can hold on to! We can put our faith and trust in an unshakeable, unchangeable God!
