We Are More Than Conquerors!

“But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37

This is such a great promise! Not just to know we can conquer, but that we can overwhelmingly conquer!

There are three things we can do to help us be more than conquerors. The first thing is to resist the devil. James 4:7 says, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” We can best resist the devil through prayer and the daily reading of God’s Word.

The second thing we can do is to replace negative thoughts with thoughts that are uplifting and pleasing to God.

Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.”

The third thing we can do is to rejoice! Philippians 4:4 says, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!” The best way to rejoice in the Lord is to lift our praise and worship to Him.

My prayer for you today is that you will resist, replace and rejoice, and remember YOU are an “overwhelming conqueror”!
