Trusting and Taking God at His Word

I love reading and studying God’s Word, but if I’m honest, there are times I can get bogged down in the Old Testament. But I believe God’s Word is inspired and every word is important.

Having said that, there are times when I will be reading a passage of scripture and it seems to “jump off the page.”

Ezekiel 36:36 is one of those verses. “…I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it.”

I realize this was the word the Lord spoke to Ezekiel for a specific time and place, but is it really any different for us today? If God has given us a promise, will He not keep it?

Just like in the days of Ezekiel, we can still take God at His word. We can trust that if the Lord has spoken, He will do it!
