Radical, Extreme, Uncommon Faith

Hebrews 11:1-2 says, “What is faith?  It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen.  It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.  Men of God in days of old were famous for their faith.”

What are you believing God for?  Several years ago, I was talking to a friend and she said, “you need a ‘part-the-water’ kind of miracle!”

Now that sounds really good, but what kind of faith would that take?  Sometimes we need radical, extreme, uncommon faith!  So for fun I looked up those words in the dictionary!

Radical - Relating to or affecting fundamentals like a radical change.

Extreme – Very great, with as great a degree as possible.

Uncommon – Unusual.

So for a “part-the-water” kind of miracle, I need faith that brings about a radical change, with as great a degree as possible and it’s going to be unusual!!

My prayer for all of us today is that we have “mountain moving, part-the-water” kind of faith! Let’s believe God for the impossible!
