So, Where Are You Going?

I heard this statement recently:  “The enemy is not fighting you for where you are, but for where you are going.”

Now that’s interesting, but think about it!  In what area of your life is the enemy fighting you?  Maybe finances? So, if God begins to prosper you and you are able to give more, of course the enemy doesn’t want that to happen!

Let’s say it’s in your family.  Maybe your marriage is struggling, or a child has lost his or her way and God brings restoration to that situation.  Then you begin to tell others about what God has done for you and that He can also do it for them.  Again, the enemy absolutely doesn’t want you to share that!

Let’s say it’s in our church.  We are praying and believing for revival and growth.  The enemy doesn’t want that because people’s lives would be changed for eternity! Then we could impact our community and even our city!  And we can go on and on!

You see, the enemy wants us to stay where we are now, but he hates it when we determine to move forward and see God accomplish great things in our lives!

Someone once said, “Make sure you need a miracle so big, that only God can do it.”

As long as we can “fix” things ourselves, it’s not really a miracle and we take credit for it.  But if God does it, then He receives the Glory!

Let’s believe God for answers so big, that it will absolutely take a supernatural miracle for it to happen!  And there will be no doubt that God is the one who did it!

And remember, the enemy is okay with where you are, but he is fighting you for where you are going.  I think he trembles to think what might happen if we step out of our boat and dare to walk on the water!
