The Majesty and Greatness of Our God

Sometimes it’s a good thing to think about how great and majestic our God is!

In Daniel, chapter 2, the king is asking Daniel to interpret his dream. In verses 27-28, Daniel said, “No wise man, astrologer, magician, or wizard can tell the king such things, but there is a God in heaven…”

Daniel 6:26 says, “…God is the living, unchanging God whose kingdom shall never be destroyed and whose power shall never end.”

Daniel 7:14 says, “His power is eternal – it will never end; his government shall never fail.”

Think about all the religions of the world, and all the “man-made” gods people worship. Then think about our God! Living! Unchanging! Power shall never end! His government shall never fail!

The next time you feel like your prayers are not getting through and you are hitting a wall spiritually, remember – there is a God in heaven! He is real! And you have access to Him through His Son, Jesus! He’s your Heavenly Father and He is on your side! Fighting for you! And always loving you! That’s the greatness of our God!
