Three Truths

Psalm 138:8 (AMP) says, “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; your mercy and lovingkindness, O Lord, endure forever – forsake not the works of your own hands.”

This one verse has three important truths.

The first truth is that the Lord will perfect, or complete in every detail, that which concerns us. Now, that doesn’t mean everything is always going to be perfect, but it does mean “God is working all things for our good.” (Romans 8:28)

Truth number two is that God’s mercy and lovingkindness to us will endure forever. That is for eternity.

And truth number three is that God will not forsake the works of His hands. That means He will never forsake you and me. If we put our faith and trust in Him, the God who created us will always be with us, guiding us, protecting us and giving us His strength. That is truth we can stand on – truth that has stood the test of time and truth that will stand through the ages!
