What is Surrounding You?

Are there times in your life where you feel completely surrounded by the enemy? Sometimes it may be a financial situation, or a physical problem, or maybe something else, but you literally feel surrounded by the enemy. You feel hopeless.

If that sounds like what you are facing right now, take heart! Psalm 119:151 says, “You are near O Lord (nearer to me than my foes), and all your commandments are true.”

So what are your “foes”? Foes are your enemies or opponents. That means that anything coming against you is your foe. And that’s where our faith in God comes in.

In these times, we need to stop and remember that no matter what seems to be surrounding us, the truth is: God is nearer than our enemies. He is right beside us, closer than anything that could ever come against us. And He comes to deliver us!
