Are You a Life Saver?

I’m not talking about a “life preserver” but a “Life Saver.”

When I was a little girl, I remember loving those colorful little candies with the hole in the middle. They were red, yellow, orange, and green. And they were called “Life Savers.”

Sometimes when I am working at the church, I will find sticky notes on my desk that people have left for me. They say things like, “I miss U,” “I love you,” or “Have a great day!” One is yellow, one is pink, and one is green. I decided to save them and line them up at the bottom of my computer. They make me smile and can turn an average day into a great day!

In Proverbs 15:23 it says, “How delightful is a timely word.” A word of encouragement can change your entire outlook.

So this is what I’ve decided. I want to bring joy to a sad heart and hope to a broken spirit. I want to be a “Life Saver” to someone every day.
