The First Glimpse of His Glory
In the second chapter of John, we read about Jesus’s very first miracle at the wedding feast when he turned the water into wine.
John 2:11 (MSG) says, “This act in Cana of Galilee was the first sign Jesus gave, the first glimpse of his glory. And his disciples believed in him.”
Think back. Do you remember the first time you had a “glimpse of his glory?” And remember how powerful that was? So powerful that it made a lasting impact on you and caused you to believe in him?
For me, I think I was about seven years old. I remember praying with my mother in our home. It was a powerful moment and I have never forgotten it.
Take a minute and think back to when you first saw the “glimpse of his glory” in your own life. I’m sure that was a life-changing moment for you as well. And after that experience, like the disciples, we too believed, and will never be the same.
