A God Like No Other

I love the New Testament and the stories of Jesus’s miracles. But I also love the stories in the Old Testament. Over and over God gave the Israelites victories over their enemies!

In Deuteronomy 3:24 (TLB), it says, “…for what god in all of heaven or earth can do what you have done for us?”

Think about that for a moment. What has God done for you? Has he given you eternal life? Has he healed you? Has he ever answered a prayer for you? Has he taken care of you? Provided for you?

I am always amused when I see a statue to another god in a restaurant or somewhere else. I can’t help but think, what can you really do? Absolutely nothing! The reality is that it is just a piece of wood or stone with no ability at all except to gather dust. The truth is this: “There is no god in all of heaven or earth who can do what he has done for us!”
