A Most Powerful Verse

I think it’s safe to say, we are living in one of the most troubling times in the history of the world! Living through Covid, the threat of war, and just the day-to-day frustrations can be draining and frightening.

I believe Isaiah 54:17 is one of the most powerful verses in all the Bible. In fact, that is what I have written underneath this verse in one of my Bibles. The verse begins like this:

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper. (KJV)

No weapon forged against you will prevail. (NIV)

No weapon that can hurt you has ever been forged. (MSG)

No matter which translation you prefer, the meaning is clear. As a child of God (who is creator of all things, and in control of all things), we can trust in His love and protections!

We can trust Him today! We can trust Him tomorrow! We can trust Him forever!
