Holding His Hand

Have you ever had the fun of walking through a store with a small child? It can be a Target, a Walmart, or even a grocery store. And if there are toys, you may never get out of there!

There are so many distractions! Bright colors! Things right at their “eye level.” So many things that can cause a child to lose their focus!

But do you know what can really make it easier? If you hold on to their little hand! That way, you can keep them focused and move them on down the aisle.

In much the same way, that’s what God does with us. We can be easily distracted by so many things in this life. Sometimes it seems like things come at us from every direction. But if we keep our hand in His, He will get us past all the distractions that come our way. Personally, I don’t want to live one day without my hand firmly placed in His hand.
