The Majority

In 1781, Thomas Jefferson was nearly killed as the British descended on his home, Monticello. He wrote these words… “One man with courage is a majority.” I love that! It is so patriotic and inspiring.

But you know what I love even more? I love Romans 8:31 that says, “If God is for us, who can stand against us?”

I love this verse in different translations. The Amplified Bible says, “Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?” The Message says it like this: “So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose?”

What are you facing today? An immovable mountain that needs to move? A Red Sea that needs to part? Do you feel like you are entering a lion’s den where huge lions will be on every side of you? Remember this: You and God are a majority! Always! In every circumstance!

Ask yourself this question: “With God on our side like this, how can we lose?” The answer is you and God cannot lose! Not ever!
