Living Out My Faith

I recently reread a book that I read several years ago. The title of the book is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. It is a Christian novel inspired by the Book of Hosea. The main theme of the book is the redeeming love of God toward sinners.

In the book, the husband is a godly man who forgives his wife over and over for going back to her sinful ways. That’s how God is with us. He is always ready to forgive!

And that made me stop and think. Am I living in a way that an unbeliever can understand Christ? The message of the Gospel is powerful, and yet so simple. It’s about God’s amazing, redeeming love for sinful man.

John 3:16 is the starting point of our Christian faith. It begins with, “For God so loved the world…” We need to show that love to a hurting world every day! Let’s live out our faith!
