Take Courage – For I Am With You

In Haggai 2:4, God says, “Take courage” three times. First, He says it to the leaders. And then He says it to the people. And then, He ends this verse with these words, “For I am with you.”

No matter what situation we may be facing, God wants us to be a people of courage. Courage means we have no fear. To put it in one word, we are “FEARLESS!”

But how can we be fearless when we face the struggles we have in this life? Well, that’s an easy answer. God says, “I am with you.”

The key to being fearless is in knowing that the God who created us, the God who flung the stars into space, the all-knowing, all-powerful, miracle working God is on our side, fighting our battles, taking us from victory to victory. That is how we can be fearless in every situation!

The next time you feel inadequate or defeated, remember that God is for you, He is with you, and you are fearless!
