Isaiah 40:28-31
This is one of the most powerful passages in the Bible, and a personal favorite of mine.
Verse 28 begins like this, “Do you not know? Have you not heard?” (Truthfully, it sounds like a group of girlfriends at lunch talking about a great sale at their favorite store!) But then it goes on to say, “The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary.” And in verse 31, it says that if we hope in the Lord, He will renew our strength.
Elevation Worship sings a song that says, “I’ve never seen a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. But I’ve got a promise I can hold in the middle of the struggle. God, if you said it, you’ll perform it. I’m gonna wait on you.”
Some of you reading this have been praying and believing for an answer to your prayer for a very long time. Don’t give up! God has promised to renew your strength.
Keep your hope and faith in Him! Wait on Him! Trust in Him! And remember, the Lord, the everlasting God, does not grow tired or weary. He loves you, cares for you and is working for you, even right now!
