He is Able

Do you ever feel inadequate? Like you make mistakes when you try so hard to do the right thing? We all feel that way from time to time.

There’s a great passage in Jude, that great book with just one chapter that comes right before Revelation in the New Testament.

It reads like this:

“And he is able to keep you from slipping and falling away, and to bring you, sinless and perfect, into his glorious presence with mighty shouts of everlasting joy. Amen.” (Verses 24, 25, Living Bible)

Wow! If you are struggling in any way, maybe with guilt from the past or imperfections in your life, take heart! Our God can keep us from falling and will one day bring us into his glorious presence! I am sure we will shout with everlasting joy on that day, but that’s a pretty good reason to be excited, even today!
