Peace

One of the greatest things about being a believer is that God gives us His peace.

Isaiah 26:3 says, “God will keep us in perfect peace.”Psalm 55:22 says, if we “Cast our burdens on the Lord, He will sustain us.”

Psalm 55:18 says, “He will redeem my soul in peace from the battle which is against me.”

We live in a world that is filled with hatred and strife and a lack of peace. Every day we face battles that we didn’t necessarily choose or expect. But to know that God will bring peace from the battle against us, is worth more than all the wealth in the world.

If you’re facing a battle today, or your soul is in turmoil, give those burdens to the Lord and He will sustain you.

The word “sustain” is an interesting word. It means God will support you, keep you alive, assist you, and help you to endure.

What else could we possibly need?
