The One True God
Have you ever asked yourself, “Why are there so many religions?” People all over the world worship so many godsfalse gods. These gods cannot even hear them and they certainly can’t answer their prayers!
The reality is that people everywhere recognize they need something or someone in their lives, something that is bigger than themselves. We were all created with a vacuum inside our hearts that only God can fill. Whether we realize it or not, we are in need of a Savior!
Even here in America, we will sometimes see a statue to another god. It is heartbreaking to think that people are placing their hope and faith in a god who doesn’t care about them, because their god doesn’t even hear their prayers!
Psalm 86:8, 10 says, “Among the gods there is none like you, O Lord, no deeds can compare to yours. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.”
That’s the God we serve! The one true God! The God who does great and marvelous deeds! He alone is worthy of all our praise and devotion!
