Jesus, the Atonement for Our Sins

I think it’s good for us to sometimes reflect and be reminded of what God has done for us when He sent Jesus to die for our sins. Romans 3:23-24 lays it out for us.

“Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we’re in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ.” (MSG)

Just to think that Jesus came to die for our sins and to give us the gift of eternal life!

All of us have been given so many blessings. We can never thank God enough for all that He has done for us. But even if He never answered another prayer, never did anything else for us, we are blessed more than we could ever deserve because of the gift of His Son!

Maybe now is a good time to take a moment to give God thanks for all He has done, but especially for sending His Son, Jesus!
