Our Sins Are Forgiven

When we accept Jesus into our hearts, and ask Him for forgiveness, we know we have been forgiven. But so many times the enemy tries to remind us of our past. We begin to doubt and wonder if God has really forgiven us.

Romans 4:7 says our sins are forgiven and that God will never count them against us. One translation says our sins are wiped clean from the slate and the Lord does not keep score.

This verse brings so much freedom to us as believers. No matter what our sins from the past may be, God chooses to forgive and forget our sins. The next time the enemy comes and reminds you of your past sins (and he will), you remind him of Romans 4:7.

Your slate is clean! And the Lord does not keep score!
