Live, Love, Laugh

Recently I was looking at a plaque hanging on the wall in my laundry room that says, “Live, Love, Laugh.” I was wondering with all my “Christian” plaques, does this one express what I want it to say?

But the more I thought about it, I think it does.

LIVE – For me to live is Christ. Philippians 1:21. Everything in our lives should be centered around Christ.

LOVE – Walk in love, just as Christ also loved you. Ephesians 5:2. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Leviticus 19:18.

LAUGH – But what about laughter? John 10:10 says, “I came that they might have life and might have it abundantly.” If Jesus came to give us abundant life, I’m pretty sure that abundance includes laughter and joy!

So, let’s live our lives centered around Christ, love our neighbors, and enjoy laughter and the abundant life God has given us!
