All of Our Sin

I am so thankful for my many blessings! As believers, we have so many things to be thankful for! But beyond our spiritual blessings, I am grateful for modern conveniences!

I remember when I was growing up and spending time at my grandmother’s house. She didn’t have a dishwasher. Well, let me explain that. She had a dishwasher and sometimes it was me! But what I wouldn’t give to be in that kitchen doing dishes with her again!

Having said all that, I am really thankful for my dishwasher! But have you ever noticed that sometimes those dishes just don’t get clean; almost, but not quite.

Have you ever felt that way about your heart? We love God and have accepted His forgiveness but maybe because of guilt or shame, we kind of feel “stuck”; kind of like that fork that needs to go through the dishwasher again.

Well, I have some really good news for you! Isaiah 1:25 talks about God taking away “all of our sin!” When we ask for His forgiveness, He washes us clean and removes every trace of sin!

There’s nothing so freeing as knowing that we are totally forgiven. Not a trace of sin is left!
