Plants

Do you know anyone who just loves plants? I have friends, a daughter, and a granddaughter (and maybe some of you reading this) who really love plants! They water them, give them the right food to make them grow, and make sure they have just the right amount of sunlight.

Now personally, I prefer the “silk” plants you can buy at Hobby Lobby, but I do really admire people who can grow beautiful, lush green plants!

Isaiah 27:3 says, “I, the Lord, watch over it; I water it continually. I guard it day and night so that no one may harm it.”

I was thinking about this verse recently. There are some days when we may feel God’s presence so real that we know for certain God is watching over us. The reality is, even on other days, when we may not sense His presence as much, He is still watching over us! Day and night, He is watching. That’s the amazing God we serve!

So, on the days when you feel His presence in such a powerful way, know that He is watching over you! And just like the plant lovers watch over their plants, and even more so, your Heavenly Father is watching over you, even when you may not feel His presence as much. He is STILL watching over you!
